At TUANIS we aim to make environmentally conscious decisions in the creation of our products. We celebrate the beauty in nature through our designs and aim to give consumers the choice to support sustainably mindful products.
Manufacturing
We are a small business located on the Sunshine Coast, QLD and we produce our products in small batches. This reduces both waste and our footprint.
To produce our surfsuits we work with a local manufacturer (a one hour drive from our base) who shares our eco ethos. Whilst proudly supporting Australian Manufacturing, this also ensures quality and ethical production of our surf suits.
We hand make our jewellery to order in our studio on the sunshine coast.

Materials
We believe in making a difference through our fabric choices.
We support the healthy seas initiative® by using premium recycled Carvico fabrics to create our surfsuits aiming to help close the circle for a more sustainable textile industry.
We also attempt to make more sustainable choices with our Jewellery range. In looking for long lasting affordable materials, we currently choose PVD plated products as they eliminate the need for liquid solvents or hazardous chemical substances compared to other plating processes. Therefore no liquid pollutants or chemical residues are released into the air, water or soil during the coating application. As our brand grows we are looking to incorporate recycled metals in to our range.

Packaging
We use recycled and compostable packaging to wrap and ship your orders - no single use plastic.
